A lot has changed since I started this blog. I haven't been that faithful to the blog though. I'm sorry blog. I think this is really cool though. Nobody reads this now so I can write what I want to write about without really thinking about it.

I've been seriously thinking about joining ROTC in college to help pay for tuition. Then I'll serve out my term and be done with it. Thats my plan. My not so thought out plan. Yeah.

Sometimes I really just like to be alone. But then I start thinking. Then it gets to bad thoughts. And I hate it. SO SO SO much.

When I was a younger kid, I always saw the jets flying above me from the air force bases and thought to myself, "take me away." I always wanted to fly so badly. Then I grew a little older and they sunk away as I moved back to the States. I don't think I want to let it sink all the way away yet. I still want to fly, fly away from everyone then just look down at how crappy of a world it is and how beautiful it is despite that.

I love fruit snacks. I just feel kind of tired.

Oyasumi.

Optimus Supreme!

So Thanksgiving was pretty cool. I got to watch the Transformers Energon marathon on Cartoon Network. At first, I was a little skeptical about the transformers animated with CG, but I got used to it and it seemed to work. But wow. Optimus fighting Unicron in the last episode of the marathon was just phenomenal. But I don't see how Megatron could have survived Optimus' last attack. I just can't...

I saw Brandon working at Best Buy yesterday. He helped me find Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, but my copy isn't working so I'm going to return it for another one. My room is half moved into right now. I have most of the stuff from my shelves moved downstairs but I still got a lot of work ahead. But the final product should look pretty awesome.

Quitter

So I am moving...

downstairs!!!!!!!

So I just figured out that my shark pirate robot transformer can have a train mounted on its shoulder in robot mode as a cannon. Not good.

I also got his Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, which I will beat once I get around to it but right now I need to level up my team members in Final Fantasy. Homecoming was this past weekend. That was pretty awesome. Hank was freaking amazing with his dance to Thriller. Wow. I know Kovich and Pearson will probably give him some crap about stealing their show but with support from Paul Schapker (The Paladin), I don't think anything's going to happen. Plus, I will support Hank all the way if they do give him crap.

So I went to Ren Fest yesterday after work. That took a lot longer to get to than it should have. I do everything right except not turning right on to K-7 North where Ren Fest was. So I drive 15 minutes South on K-7. But it was pretty awesome still. I got some horns while I was there. I got to see Lydia there too.

Who brought me here?
Forsaken, depraved and wrought with fear
Who turned it off?
The last thing I remember now
Who brought me here?

Lucky!!!

School really began as of Monday and wow this is going to be a long week. I have a test tomorrow in Honors Algebra II over this summer packet we had to do. I don't think its going to be that bad. I have a test tomorrow first thing in the morning for AP Brit Comp. Its just an essay test but I hate writing so much.

Well, today was pretty awesome as of about 3:30. We were doing our core exercises then I noticed one of the clovers on the ground. At first, I thought I was hallucinating from the very humid and hot temperature outside, but when I looked at it again, I saw it was a four leaf clover! I'm so happy right now, because the last time I found something remotely like it was a five leaf clover after freshman year and I gave it away to someone else.

So now, I'm going to go.

Digimon

So today when I was on the internet, I was thinking about Tamagotchis. Then I remembered that I still had my Japanese Digimon in my desk. For those of you who remember the brief Digimon craze in fifth grade back at Kinser, which won't be a lot, I felt like I was back in fifth grade again battling with my Digimon. They were out of batteries though.

So I walked to the Hen House up the street and went to see if they had the right batteries but they didn't. Then I walked to the Wal-Mart in Roeland Park. It took me a while of searching, but I finally found the batteries I was looking for and now the little baby fighters are sleeping. It'll be so fun once they're old enough to fight.

Wrestling. My paycheck comes this Friday!!

Zoom zoom.

Hello

I apologize for the last post. I think its getting old.

Good news to all Detective Conan fans. Adult Swim now has Detective Conan on known as "Case Closed." Even though they totally butchered the ending theme song by putting it in english, and skipping some episodes, I still like it. I mean, you can't go wrong with Detective Conan. There's just no way.

Summer's finally here!!!!! I like. No school to bug me, but the three books to read and the hon. alg. II packet will be looking very ominous in the next few weeks.

For some wierd reason this morning, when I went running, my feet kept on hurting. I think its time for some new running shoes. I probably ran a good 500 miles on them so yeah. I need new running shoes.

I would like to know the differences and likenesses between me and Sean Svadlenak. So if you would like to comment on that, go right ahead.

Next Conan Hint!!!: Chocolate.

College night was a little disapointing for me. The Air Force Academy wasn't there! ARRRGGHH. I wanted to see the really cool military things you could do at the Academy. Not fair. But I did get to see some cool colleges there I didn't know about.

CURB WRESTLING. Yesterday, I was a little bored after school and Sean and I were at the St. Agnes parking lot. Sean stands on top of a curb. I do the same and then we start trying to push each other off. Thus, curb wrestling is born. (really dorky, I know, but it was fun!)

School is getting really boring and Master P is getting on my nerves more than usual. Today in class, he explains this formula in Excel that could have taken only a minute. But being the annoying guy he is, he has to explain it for well over ten minutes.

Oh well. I got my class ring today. I like it.

Sutefan wa yubiwa o shite (Stephan wears a ring.).

Been a while. I'm sorry to all the people who actually waste their time to read this but I've been kind of busy lately, but that's not the real reason for my absence from blogging. I can't think of phrases in Japanese to put at the end of the blog. But, I'll see what I can use at the end of this entry.

These last few weeks have been pretty crazy, so I'll sum it up pretty quick because I want to sleep.

I finally got a job. My hunt ended at Mr. Goodcent's. I now put dressings on subs. I make money doing this. Wow. I had my first performance tonight for the Spring One Acts. I messed up a couple of times in the Creepy Corpse of Cal Capone but I have Sunday night's performance to make up for it. I like the booth where I get to read off my lines for the part of the voice in The Actor's Nightmare. Very laid back atmosphere in the booth with Adam Diskin, Kristen Connolly, and Laura Hendricks. After the performance, I got to talk to Zack who I haven't talked to in ages. Since grade school to be exact. That was fun. After that, I got to go to Winstead's with the rest of the cast which was fun. But I didn't like riding with smokers there. I got to eat apple pie. It was delicious! Rachel was there!! I was happy! I met some of her friends. That was cool. I got a ride back home with Matt Castilleja. That was fun.

Minna, gomennasai (sorry everyone).

My dad is really mean.
My dad and I had to get a haircut this morning and he made the lady cutting my hair give me a really short haircut. I watched in anguish as I saw my hair that I grown out with so much pride get cut away. Its HORRIBLE!!!!

I finally got to go to the wrestling banquet at Mission Bowl after missing it last year. This is probably the only time of the year when all the wrestlers can get together and eat so I was happy. I beat Billy Denzer every single time in bowling while I was there. That was fun. I also got to play some miniature golf which wasn't too fun because I suck at golf.

I time kept at the forensics tournament yesterday. It was kind of odd because every judge I time kept for was a parent of someone I knew. Round 1, I met Paula's mom. Round 2, I met Katie Fritts's mom. I don't care if I do get hit tomorrow, I still say they are a lot alike. And Round 3, I met Sean Buckleau's mom.

All in all, fun weekend.

shuumatsu ga tanoshi (The weekend is fun).

I am finding that my Japanese vocabulary has increased dramatically since starting this blog. Words I didn't even know about like eegakan, (movie theater) I know of because I started this thing. This is great.

So, I tried out for the Spring One Acts Tuesday. This ended better than last year's attempt to be in it. I actually got called back this time. But it gets better. The following day after call backs, they posted who are in the One Acts. I am now the Voice and Jim.

So today after school, Rachel and Hope came over to pick me up for a day of crazy cool fun.
First, we went to the Asian Market where I got some Pocky and some Japanese Green Apple Fruit Chews, both of which I didn't have in a long time. Then we went to Matt Jenkins' house and watched some of Ghost World and some Korean pop singers. There are some crazy Korean icons out there.
After this, we all went to Kin Lin. After that, we went over to Joe Heschmeyer's and took him over to Olive Garden. The free breadsticks were amazing and the waiter was really cool about our colorful language and such. Then we headed for suicide hill to play at the park there which was awesome because I never had a chance to climb on bars and things for ages. That was pretty much it.

There's some lightning that seems really close right now judging by how loud the thunder is. Well, oyasumi for now.

Tooku de kaminari ga natte iru (It's thundering in the distance.).

Backtracking to yesterday. I get a call from Tom around 8 something in the morning and I find out the war is cancelled because Sean was supposed to record it but bailed out the last minute, but he and Ethan were going to the park anyway. I walk over there and see that I am early so I put on my dad's old marine coat and walk around until I found them. When I did, I showed them the Japanese laser tag game I got from Japan, which was made by SEGA making it even cooler. Rachel and Hope get there shortly after Tom and Ethan face off against each other. Rachel went against Ethan and ended up falling into some thorny bushes. So after that, we walked around the park for a while then headed for Winstead's. I got in with Rachel and Hope and on our way there, they decided to let me do a secret mission for them but they thought better of it. While at Winstead's, Tom and Rachel started dancing to a Beattles tune and I just drink my water. I got a Classic Limeade there.

Tom had to get a haircut after this so we go to his house with a little time to spare then we all procede to bug Sean for bailing on us. After that, we leave Tom to go to Rachel's house and watch Lost In Translation. Before we leave though, Rachel calls her sister and tells her to call Ethan as Mr. Struby. We get there and watch the movie. Wow. It was true to all the Japanese stuff. Incredibly awesome. Although the ending made me a little sad. After this, we drop Hope off at her place and proceed to Tom's house.

It is here they decide to make Melinda Loves Pedro: The Sequel. This,as you can guess, is a sequel, but, its a sequel to this notebook called Melinda Loves Pedro that Rachel and Hope found covered in BBQ sauce at a gas station. It was filled with stuff from magazines pasted in and covered with not that good poetry. So we go to the Hyvee and get a notebook to make it in. When we get back to Tom's house to make the sequel, Tom's sister lent us some of her magazines for material. I never really noticed how much they look alike. So then Ethan and Lizz come over and they help with the notebook. Becca Bryon called up and said that Mr. Provencher drove into a pole at the Mexico mission trip.

So after Ethan spends like an eternity on the phone with her, we go to Joe Heschmeyer's place. I rode with Rachel and Lizz there and we won the race getting there. Joe showed us his room and gave us more magazines for the notebook. So then Ethan got to drive Joe back to Tom's house but again, I ride with Rachel and she beats Ethan there. At Tom's house, Rachel needs to get to her house to get The Royal Tennenbaums. I go with her. She was kind of low on gas when we get to her house so we wait for her dad to get home so she can get some money for gas. It is while we were waiting that she found sidewalk chalk in her car so we draw on her driveway for a while then play lasertag then some more drawing with chalk. I tried to draw a picture of her anime style but I don't think it was any good and I'm sorry.

So after that, we drove to Kate Maxwell's house and waited for Tom and the gang over there. I showed Paula my laser tag game so she wanted to play against me so I ended up beating her. So then we go into Kate's backyard and jump on the trampoline. After a couple of minutes, Hank, Ethan, Tom, Lizz, and Joe show up. After talking in the backyard for a while, we go inside and talk and eat snacks. After that, The Royal Tennenbaums. Wow. This is one of the funniest movies, no, this is the funniest movie I ever seen. After that, Rachel wanted to head out for slurpees so Hank and I went with her. After we got back, the party was over and everyone was leaving so I got my stuff and parted ways with Rachel and Hank. Moral of the day, Rachel is really cool.

Rachel wa kakoii yo (Rachel is cool or something like that.).

The battleground is studied. Strategy time. Hardy har har har. I'm gonna bust so many caps it won't be funny. Except it will, to me!!!!

Yesterday, I walked to Hank's house. I wore my sleeveless wrestling shirt there and took my military hat along. No doubt I looked odd to the drivers passing me by on Ward Parkway at nine in the morning. We walked to Loose Park once I got to Hank's house since Sean wasn't there. We walked the terrain there and I showed him some of my evasive rolling tactics. There was this guy yelling there. Hank yelled back. I yelled back. Since it was about the time Sean was supposed to come over to Hank's and we were still at Loose Park, we walked along the outskirts and then walked to Hank's house. Hank called Sean. Sean came over. He walked in when Hank was playin' GTA: Vice City on the computer and when I was killing every person I saw in Morrowind. Killing people in Morrowind is so fun. Then we messed with the artillery that Hank had acquired.

After that, a very messy scene from Kill Bill. That was the most awesome display of swordsmanship I have ever seen. So many katanas, so much blood. Awesome.

Then we messed on the computer while Hank played Rainbow Six: Three. Sean found a sattelite map of Loose Park on the computer. Then Sean suggested Jackass: The Movie. I never saw this movie before. Nothing is more funny than the senseless violence people inflict upon one another.

After a lot of violence, Sean had to go. I left at the same time. I walked home being the half-japanese kid I am. But on the way home, I stopped at Lucy Lynn Pastry and Party Shop. Oh my God. I bought two of the most awesome doughnuts I ever had. Mmm. So ended my mission for the day. So tired.

Minna oyasumi ( Goodnight, everybody.).

  Do what I want 'cause I can't if I don't because I wanna
Be ignored by the stiff and bored because I'm gonna
Spit and retrieve 'cause I give and recieve because I wanna
Gonna get through your head, what the mystery man said because I'm gonna.
Hate to say I told you so, alright.
Come on.
Do believe I told you sooooo.

I feel like the Hives today. I can't believe I bought their cd a couple of summers ago. It was probably a heat or something. But it's definitely a cd that strangely lifts one's spirits. Crazy Swedes.

So there was the NET retreat yesterday. I did not like that. All the talking about the feelings and the worshipping God thing. I am a Christian, its just I don't feel right about talking about God. It makes me feel awkward. And I really didn't like how the NET people tried to get all buddy buddy with us. I hardly know these religious fanatics and then they try to be my best friend ever. Argh. I really hope they don't come back next year. Creepy religious people.

Finally, spring break is here! Ten days of worry free fun. Now I begin my training for the war at Loose Park. We get cap guns and water balloons but still, it will be awesome. By the end of the weekend, I will know my terrain and every little nook and cranny inside and out and we shall see who has the upper hand in the battle. The side with me of course. Because I am just that cool. And ninja-like. I will need to bring my camo gear. After driving for two more hours straight today, I am comfortable in my ability to drive. Zoom, zoom.

Sorry, I felt I had to put that in.

Very bored right now and I have a lot of energy. I don't have too much to write about now so I will comment on the fact that I have a pair of green socks on my feet. They're GREEN.

Since I made a new post last night, I wanted to see what it looked like, but since I have AOL and my parents are restrictive on my internet browsing, I can't see it for some reason. What caused my site to be blocked from a Mature Teen in AOL's eyes? WHAT?!?!? Well, hopefully after this post, I will be able to read my darned site again.

So yeah, my job hunt continues. Soon I'll leave for Cinemark and then get an application over there. Hopefully I will find my prey and get it (the job, that is.).

Eegakan e iku (go to the movie theater.).

Everything seems very dull now that wrestling is over. It used to be that because it took up so much of my time, I was always exhausted and eager for the season to be over. Now that I look back on the season, I want those feelings back. It gave me a sense of working towards something, something more meaningful than just doing school work and doing everyday things. I hated every second of wrestling but now I miss being sore every other day, the pains in my knees from over wrestling on ithem, the glorious feeling after the referee raises my hand after winning a match, the fight!! I miss the struggle! Oh, how I long for struggle and pain and fighting. It made me alive more than any other thing could ever make me. I need a fight, a reason to fight, something to fight. The brief eternity while I am out in the ring makes me feel as if I can live forever and of the constant thought tugging at the back of my mind, "Will I win or lose?"

Who ever reads this, don't be discouraged by my yearning for the brief eternity I call wrestling. I usually get like this after wrestling season and I don't like it. I need something to occupy my time!! The boredom knaws at my very soul! AARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!

On a happier note, I had my first taste of block scheduling this week. Yesterday, I was surprised when school ended in 4th hour. Not a bad way to end a school day; being surprised that the day went by so fast. Also, Kit was supposed to bring some Korean curse words to German class. But he wasn't there. That was my let down of the day right there. I was really hoping to cuss people out in a language they didn't understand. Argh. In English class, we got to sit on the other side of the room. That was pretty cool.

I tried playing some Zelda: Windwaker today. That didn't go well. I had to stop playing because my Cube couldn't read the disc. Oh well, looks like Detective Conan tapes tonight then.

Instead of the usual Japanese at the end, lyrics from the chorus of the first Conan Opening song and no translation this time(bwahahahahahaah!!!!!!)!!

eraku mo nai shi
rippa demo nai
wakatteru no wa mune no dokidoki
kotae demo nai hontou demo nai
shinjiteru no wa mune no dokidoki
mune no dokidoki dake

Job hunting. Stephan is job hunting. Stephan needs money for car insurance. Stephan needs money for gas once he gets a license. Stephan needs money to spend on the honeys (like that would ever happen.).

Well, now that wrestling season is over and my dad has been bugging me extra hard to get a job, I applied for a job at Hen House today. They didn't have any openings so Stephan needs a job elsewhere. I think I'll try the local book store tomorrow. Whatever the outcome, Stephan will have a job and make much money to spend and save.

So backtracking to Saturday. I had my last classroom session at driving school. There was a weird guy there this time who looked like a total metal head and an inappropriate shirt on. If anyone asks, I'll tell you, but I won't soil my blog with that stuff. So anyway, I had to take some more annoying tests and cram a lot more information in my head, but over all, it was good. Now I get to look forward to driving for six hours this week. Awesome.

Speaking of driving, I got to drive for the first time today. My dad took me to the Miege parking lot around six and I drove for about ten minutes. It was fun but scary at the same time. I don't think I'll be able to master this crazy cool driving thing for a while yet so if I run you over, its not my fault.

Tomorrow night is the Academic Excellance Award Night or as Liz so eloquently put it, the smart people party! I get to dress up and meet all the other smart people in my grade who I already know! I don't know why they have this but I hope they have free food. Mmm...free food.

Kare wa tsutomeguchi o sagashite iru (He is looking for work).

I'm on fire,
And now I think I'm ready
To bust a move
Check it out
I'm rockin' steady, go!

If you don't who the band is by the lyrics, it's Motion City Soundtrack. And with the power of digital cable, I've been watching their funny, crazy, cool music video way too much for my own good but they're just that crazy/cool.

Backtracking to Sunday. It's three o'clock in the afternoon and I realize that I left all my english reseach stuff at school. What is the rational thing to do in my position? I scream and flail around and throw stuff around in my room. Shortly after, my dad suggests that I go up to the school to get it since they were holding the wake for Mr. Rost that day. After gathering up all my courage, I get up there and I see the security dude in the parking lot area. I tell him my situation and he lets me get to my locker for the stuff. I can't thank you enough Mr. security dude. You are a life saver. Then I stayed up until three in the morning finishing it.

Wednesday, I had my ortho. appointment. Good news is the damned gap is finally gone. Bad news is I still have this damned metal on my teeth. From there I proceeded to get ready for the Ritter vs. Wrigley Rumble!!!!!!!!!!

For those out there who are unfortunate to know of the greatest wrestling event of the season, I must enlighten you now before you live another second in the darkness. Coach Wrigley and Ritter pick from the wrestlers who don't go to state to be on their teams. The wrestlers who get to go to state act as referees. Then we wrestle in the most awaited duel of the year. Alex Salamat wore his luchadore mask again this year. Nilo and Brody set up their match like a pro-wrestling match in the first minute. Nilo did a cool move with his legs to take Brody down and Brody choke-slammed Nilo. It was an entertaining match. In Andy Acton and Sean Buckleau's match, they danced for a couple of seconds before they both got serious then Andy ended up winning. The Fleming brothers had to face each other and Danny ended up winning. I had the good fortune this year to be on coach Wrigley's team. One of the bad ass coaches, coach Wrigley don't take no s*** from anyone. And I was chosen to be on his team.

Well, back to the rumble. Our team (Wrigley), ended up creaming coach Ritter's team even though everyone said we were going to lose with our line up. But, in my match, I lost against Paul Gregory. I actually almost had him in the first period. I nearly had him on his back and then the period ended. Then I made a mistake in the second period and I got pinned. Not fun.

Oh well.

It was a good season and I'm proud to have done so well against Paul in my last match because he went to regionals. When it comes down to it really, all I want in a match is to know I challenged myself to do my best and my opponent challenges me to do my best and in this case, it was such a match.

Today, at the pep assembly, one of the seniors on the team, wore Salamat's luchadore mask in the skit. Awesome. Power to the luchadores.

Watashi-tachi no chiimu wa go tai san de shiai ni katta (Our team won the game)!

Being the boring person that I am, I decide to make a post on a Saturday afternoon when I could be outside doing something. But there was some stuff I wanted to write down so I felt compelled to it.
First off, comments are now available! Yes, now you can comment on how bad my blog really is.
Second, I ran after school yesterday for the first time since Cross Country. I haven't felt that great in a long time. Kevin Mills and I ran, from school, all the way to the tennis club at the plaza and back. That's was at least a good five miles. While running at the plaza, I saw some interesting statues of some Chinese scholar looking people and this statue of a music man with his monkey. Wierd.
Third, I went to the play at school for the second time last night. For all of those who haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest going because its funny and really good. If you're looking for something to laugh about Sunday night and you have nothing to do, go see it.
Fourth, I took my first steps toward getting my driver's license today. I had to get up at 5:30 this morning so my dad could take me to his work at 6:25 where I stayed for an hour and played on the computer there. Fun, fun!!
From there he took me to the driving school I am attending where I crammed a lot of information about driving in 4 hours and next weekend I'll have my permit and all will be good sort of.

Watashi wa kuruma o unten dekiru(I can drive a car.).

Finally. The wrestling season is over for me and I don't have to starve myself anymore. I can eat all I want! Mmm...food.
Friday was the day before EKL,(Eastern Kansas League for all of you readers who don't live in the area.) and I was 4 lbs. over 132, which was the weight I was supposed to be at if I wanted to be in the 132 weight class for EKL. I was 1 lbs. over after practice, and magically at the weigh-ins the next morning, I was 130.4 lbs. Oh yeah!
So begins the most tiring kind of wrestling meet ever thought of. We had to wrestle against all five of the other schools in dual format meaning I had to wrestle five times.
The first match was easy against a Blue Valley guy even though I couldn't pin him but I did overwhelm him by points. He sucked. The second match against a Blue Valley West kid I pinned in the third period. Then the dread St. Thomas Aquinas match for the third. Here I harnessed all the energy I had left and gave it my all. I ended up getting pinned in the third period. Then the fourth match I wrestled a kid from Blue Valley North West. This kid was freaking strong and I was tired from the Aquinas match so I got pinned in the second period. Then Dan Brody, our 135 varsity guy, told me I had to wrestle for him in the match against Blue Valley North next. Before the next match started though, the power went off and we had to wait until some of the lights came back on. I'm not going to even speak of my next match because it was just too embarassing. Let's just say I got pinned.
Well now that I am done with my season except for the upcoming Ritter Wrigley Rumble AKA the Innersquad Meet which doesn't count in the season. My finishing record is 8-6 JV and 1-3 varsity. yay.
Now I am going to proceed to eat some more food because I can be fat like that.

Moto Taberu(more eating!)

This was a fun past four days. No school Thursday and Friday due to the snow so I got to sleep in. Yes! But during those two days, I apparently pigged out according to the scale after practice, because I weighed 139! So I fasted for the rest of the day and the next day at weigh ins, I weighed 135.4. Wow. That was a surprise.
So I wrestled at 135 instead of 130 Saturday at the tournament. In my first match, I pinned the guy in the second period. Then I rested thinking my next match wouldn't be for a while but it was sooner than I expected because my opponent was out there for like a minute before I realized what was going on. So anyway, I got pinned in the second period with only 1 second left. Coach was pissed. I'm pissed right now because I'm pretty sure I could have taken the guy and I was ahead by points.
Then I got home at 4:50 that afternoon and had to get to Kris Elbein's house to meet up with the group at 5:30! Thanks to some fast moves by me and my dad, we were only 10 minutes late. I was happy that this time, the corsage I got for Mary had a stretchy string thing instead of a ribbon I would have had to tie on. We took pictures there before going to the Reverse Restaurant on the Plaza.
Dinner there was awesome. I saw that there was a bug in my water and Becca switched hers with mine. She said her brother, who was going to be a chaperone for the Sadies dance and came along for dinner, would milk the most out of the bug in the water. I think we got free appetizers. Me and Jeff got the same thing for dinner, which was a herb-roasted half-chicken. When it got to the table, it was really half a chicken. I don't want to eat that much chicken in one sitting ever again.
So after that, we headed to the dance. Mary and I got our pictures taken even though I don't take pictures well(You'll notice this if you ever try to get me to smile for a picture). After that, we headed in to the gym where the music was. It was a lot of fun over all. I ended up dancing a bit before it was all over even though I probably looked like a fool. The music took its hold on me and I couldn't help but dance along to the music. I wouldn't say I'm exactly a graceful dancer though so if anyone saw me dancing and was in any way deeply disturbed, I'm sorry.
Well, that's it for now.
Gomennasai.(Sorry.)

Happy Snow Day!!!! After Monday's disapointing school day, today more than makes up for the expected foot of snow for Monday. Last night, I thought I would have school so I finished the fifty or so note cards I had left for English class at about three then went to bed. My dad woke me at about 5:30 to tell me I didn't have school, so then I went back to bed. Got up at 7 something, ate toast. Toast good.
So in German class earlier in the week, Mr. Provencher told me that we might read an article in German over kendo in Japan. Yes!!! The bamboo and the head armor and all the hitting. SO COOL!!! I always wanted to learn Kendo because I would feel more Japanese. That and I watched too many samurai movies back in Japan.
I'm finally starting to get along with Noel so I think I can do anything now.
Out of things to write so I'll stop now.

Takusan yuki!!!!(Lots of snow!)

AAAARRRRGGH. Not a fun past three days. Tuesday, I was overweight by two pounds after practice. We had a meet the next day so I didn't eat anything but drank some water and juice. Then the morning of weigh in's, I woke up early(five), and ran on the tread mill down in the basement. I ended up losing the pounds I needed for the meet then at the meet that evening, I lost my match in the first period to this Aquinas kid which made me mad, but I still have EKL to look forward to to get my rematch. But the fun part about going there was riding with Dan Knapp. We got lost on the way back to Miege but found I-35 North and I ended up getting home at about nine.
Thursday, I didn't study enough for Mrs. Sullivan's quiz in Honors World History because I was tired from the day before so I will be happy if I get a C.
Then today, I was tired from Thursday's wrestling practice so I didn't study enough for Mr. Schumacher's test so again I will be happy with a C. Then there was the spirit assembly. All of the wrestlers got called to the stage and I heard cheering for me from the little group Hank, Lydia and the others were in. Thanks. Then today at wrestling practice, varsity was gone at Maryville so all of the JV only had to drill moves for forty-five minutes then we got to play some games! We got to play king of the mat where whoever gets a takedown on the other guy gets to get a takedown on the next guy until he gets takendown. I took three people down before I was taken down. I think I had the most. We also got to play knee football which was fun because no pads and its football and we didn't have to stand up. Then after that we played the towel game. Somewhat similar to knee football but our team members are numbered and whatever number coach yells out goes to get the towel to score on the other side of the room. Kit really was an asian invasion in the towel game because he scored three times.
We also got to get out early from practice. Good times.

Genki desu! (I am healthy or happy or something like that)

Wrestling has to be one of the most stressful sports there are, not just because there is an angry guy in tights ready to beat you into the ground, but also because you have to be at a specific weight class for the whole season of three and a half months which is annoying when you go on an eating spree over the weekend. I could have sworn I would have been at least 138 after practice, but luckily I was 135 so now I only need to cut 3 lbs. by Wednesday to be able to wrestle. Fun fun fun!!!
Well, today was a fun day at school. I only ate a peanut butter sandwich cookie and two ho-ho's for lunch(It sucks to be overweight). Another thing about lunch, Noel wasn't here today so our table was all the more merrier for his absence. Today for biology, I forgot my report that was due today. Actually, I couldn't do the report because I forgot my research for the damn thing at school over the weekend. Fortunately, Mr. Schumacher will let me turn this thing in tomorrow, but with points off of course. Thank you, Mr. Schumacher, you rock.
I can't wait till the last week of wrestling season. There is the Ritter, Wrigley Rumble to look forward to which was awesome last year because people were all dressed up like pro-wrestlers for their matches. Alex Salamat brought a luchador mask last year. Then there is the last day of practice, which rocks so much because we get to play games instead of wrestle. No, these aren't your regular, board games. These are the kind where you get pushed around a lot. Very violent, but fun none the less.

So now I'm out because there's nothing else to write.

Tsukareta(Tired).

Wow. Today was the Freshman Miege Invitational for our wrestling team. It was a great day for the freshmen who got to wrestle, I think and I learned that Coach Wrigley's first word is cookie. This was their last real freshman season thing, so now they can wrestle JV if they beat any of the JV guys in a challenge match.
Well, anyway, back to the tournament. One of the girls on our team, Simone, almost got her first win of the season. She went into overtime with the guy and she almost got the takedown points to win the match but, alas, the guy reversed her takedown and got the points instead.
On a lighter note, Nick Folken took first place in the 171 weight class and Jeremy VanRyan took third in the 135 weight class. Nick pinned both of his guys in the first period. Jeremy's weight class was a Round Robin so he had to wrestle four matches and ended up 2-2 for the day.
But the best part about helping with the Miege Invitationals is that you get a free lunch in the hospitality room which I took full advantage of stuffing my face with chili and as many desserts as possible. Food in itself is good, but free food is all the more better.
This cauliflower ear isn't getting any better. Coach Wrigley said it would probably stay there for a while. I don't look forward to this at all because a) I still have five weeks left in the season and b) it hurts like a mother.
Last night, I thought it would be helpful if I put translations for the Japanese phrases I put in at the end of each entry so here it goes.

Gambade! (Don't give up! or something encouraging like that)

So this is what its like to have a blog? It feels pretty good.Thank you Sean for making the suggestion. I can write about stuff now. Hmm... Where to start?
Well, the other day after World History, Cameron Jarvis came to me and brought up an ongoing argument we had about the pronunciation of Edo. He brought up his point again because he always thinks he's right so I snapped and yelled at him and left the room. The next day Mrs. Sullivan came up to me before class to ask what the problem was and I said it was nothing of importance. Then later that day at wrestling practice when I thought for sure Cameron wouldn't have some kind of influence on me, Coach Beake asks me the same question.
What the hell?
That was the end of it though so everything is good now except for my cauliflower ear on my right ear. This has been an ongoing problem now since freshman season. Its gotten pretty bad now. The cartilage is sort of torn up in my right ear so it looks kind of like a blobby thing. Eww. Today at practice I finally decided to put my headgear on so it wouldn't get any worse, though Adam Bush says all the bad asses have cauliflower ear. Well then I'm half a bad ass then, being its only in one ear.
Today at school I brought my pictures of me as a preschooler. For those of you out there who don't know my past, I went to a Japanese pre-school where we had to wear the little hats and the little shorts on field trips. The responses were all great and I think I'll bring some different ones to school some time.
So thats the end of it for right now I guess. Gotta get ready to help with the Freshman Invitational tomorrow. I'm hoping the freshmen won't do to bad.

Minna, oyasumi.
